Story: Purity in devotion makes us see the god
Once upon a time, there lived a Sri vaishnava brahmin, also an archaka named Vedavyas in the holy town of mangalagiri, Andhra pradesh. He got married and blessed with a child (Baby boy). As he is an ardent follower of Lord Narasimha, he named his son as Prahlada Varadan. When his son reached the age of 7 years, He completed thread marriage (yagnopaveetha dhaarana mahothsava) ritual to his son, made him know the importance of sandhya vandana and made him learn and adviced him to do sandya vandanam 3 times a day i.e. sunrise, noon and sunset. As his son, prahlada varadan is also very obedient, he learnt sandhya vandanam and continued it with out any mistake in the procedure as said by his father. Prahlada varadan, with great enthusiasm used to ask his father every day to teach a mantra which makes him see the god.
