Kshetras/Temples are the energy centers which release positive energy for the well being of every individual. Person going to temple everyday will have much positive energy and will power when compared to an ordinary person. God Presides in the temple and releases the positive energy continuously. This positive energy when received by a human being, he will all the good deeds for the society. The total structure of the temple will be constructed as per the Aagama of the rituals to be performed to the god.



there are mainly 4 types of kshetras. they are:-

1. Swayam vyaktam
2. Swayam bhu
3. Rusheyam
4. Manusham


Swayam vyakta temples:-
These are the places, god chose himself i.e. the self manifestation happens on his wish itself. These swayam vyakta kshetras are most powerful temples ever. There is also a saying that in swayam vyakta kshetras, god directly understands the purpose of your visit and blesses you. there is no need of availing your desires to the god here. The first sloka of varaaha Kavacham clearly says that there are 8 swayam vyakta kshetras as below:-

Adyam Rangamithi Proktham vimanam Ranga Sanghitham
Srimushnam Venkatadrimm cha Salagramam cha Naimisham
Thothaadrim Pushkaram Chaiva Nara Naarayanaasramam
Ashtaame Murthayah santhi swaya vyaktaa mahithale

    The names of the swayam vyakta kshetras are as follows:-
        (a) Sri Rangam (TamilNadu)
        (b) Sri Mushnam (Tamil Nadu)
        (c) Venkataadri (Tirumala-Tirupathi)
        (d) Salagramaadri (Vedadri)
        (e) Naimisaranyam (Uttar pradesh)
        (f) Thothaadri (Mangalagiri)
        (g) Pushkar (Rajasthan)
        (h) Badari (Uttharakhand)

Swayam Bhu kshetras:-

Swayam bhu kshetras are the temples where the god gets self manifested on the wish of devathas during their penance or praying god to protect them from rakshasas. These kshetras are special for the desires and also sankalpa siddi. Wishes of the devotee when told to the diety, he takes the responsibility in solving them.There are many temples in india where the kshetras are of swayam bhu diety. these kshetras are second most powerful among the types of kshetras. 

Rusheyam Kshetras:- In good olden days, according to puranas, Sages used to choose a place for doing their penance like banks of the rivers, hills, forest land etc and during their penance, they used to carve a diety's statue and used to pray until their penance is completed. This diety contains the power of the anustaana shakti of the sage. These kshetras are known best for creating peace and also fulfillment of desires. 

Manusham Kshetras:- These are the kshetras built by human depending on their tradition (sampradaya) and also the belief system. These temples may be the replicas of the above three types of kshetras. The power of the god depends on the yantra kept below the diety's vigarha and the rituals being organized there. These temples are commonly in and aroud the cities or vilages.
